Allahabad University is one of the esteemed universities which has been functioning since September 23, 1887. Known to be the fourth oldest university in the country, it was declared as an “Institute of National Importance” vide Allahabad University Act of 2005. 

This Central University has 32 academic departments which offer over 130+ courses in 4 different streams across its 11 constituent colleges. NIRF ranks Allahabad University at #68 among other Central Universities for 2019. 

All enrollments at Allahabad University are based on guidelines set by UGC. Popular courses like B.Tech, B.Ed, B.Sc, LLB, M.Tech, MBA, LLM, Ph.D are offered based on entrances like UGAT, LAT, PGAT & CRET. Exams like UPSEE, GATE and UGC-NET are also accepted.
